Why We Are Always Right

Our decisions create the conditions that make our decisions necessary.
For example, our steps against terrorism will create terrorism.
I believe it was George W. Bush who stood upon the bodies of hedge fund managers
and declared, “all this war needs is a little more war.”
Of course, we do not endorse President Bush or any other precedent,
but he was here glimpsing the truth that we are now bathing in.
We are death flying over the salt sea. Nothing can live beneath us.
Our shadow is called night, and all the clocks are adjusted.
We are the broken clock, but we’re bringing time to us,
your time, time spent at airports, time spent in courts,
and of course time spent lying on a beach, or in a ditch,
or in a mosque, or writing some new divine scripture.
That is why it’s pointless to discuss whether or not an executive order is right.
This administration was chosen for its rightness.
This President has never been wrong.
You are confused because sometimes the facts are wrong,
sometimes wrong things happen to innocent people,
but the innocent are still responsible,
just like blood is red even though it’s blue,
because it’s red when you spill it.
So, please, it’s unfair to find fault in someone you elected for his purity.
Please, your resistance is only marring the perfection of this moment,
this movement from thinking to greatness.
Hamlet was never here. No ghost shall be attended to.
If only you understood the pain of this pure being,
who can bear nothing less than his own perfection.
He is the most sensitive creature in the Universe.
Just let him make everything else as perfect as himself. Give him that chance.
Fall back and let the daylight save you.
